Silent Auction

SVDP Ozaukee’s Silent Auction runs monthly and is done in store at the thrift store. Shoppers stop in to view the items and their display cards, which show the item number and starting bid, then place a bid by completing a bid sheet with a whole dollar amount and dropping it in the Bid Box (only fully completed bid sheets are accepted). Bids are accepted until 3 PM on the last SVDP business day of the month, and the store posts leading bids daily. Auction items do not qualify for any store sales or employee or volunteer discounts. After the auction closes, the highest bidder is contacted by phone and has seven days to complete the purchase, otherwise the runner up bidder is notified.
